1. The Basic Agreement

By using URLd.me to shorten URLs, generate QR codes, access analytics, or use any related features, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use our API, integrations, or automated tools, these terms also apply to those systems.

The destination of every shortened link is determined solely by the user who created it. We do not verify, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, availability, legality, or accuracy of third-party websites or resources accessible through user-created links.

2. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you shorten, share, or distribute using our service.

You must ensure that your use of URLd.me complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others.

3. Prohibited Use

To help keep the internet safer, you may not use URLd.me to create, distribute, or promote links that contain or lead to:

• · Malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful software.
• · Phishing, impersonation, scams, or fraudulent content.
• · Illegal, deceptive, or misleading material.
• · Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or abusive automation.
• · Content that infringes intellectual property or other legal rights.
• · Any activity intended to disrupt, abuse, or compromise our platform or other users.

4. Enforcement

We actively monitor our platform for abuse and security threats. We encourage users to report links that may violate these Terms. We review each report in good faith and take appropriate action where necessary to protect our users and platform.

If we reasonably believe that a link, QR code, account, or activity violates these Terms or poses a risk to users or our platform, we may suspend, disable, remove, or permanently block access without prior notice. We may also cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities where required.

5. Service Availability & Changes

We strive to keep URLd.me fast, reliable, and available at all times.

However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upgrades, security events, third-party outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect availability or performance.

We may improve, modify, add, or remove features at any time to enhance the platform, maintain security, or comply with legal requirements.

6. Subscription Plans & Usage Limits

Monthly usage quotas are calculated on a calendar-month basis, beginning on the first day of each calendar month and ending on the last day of that month, regardless of your subscription start date.

Unless otherwise stated, unused monthly quotas expire at the end of each calendar month and do not roll over, accumulate, or carry forward to subsequent months.

If you subscribe or upgrade during a calendar month, the applicable monthly quota becomes available immediately and resets on the first day of the next calendar month. Unused quota does not carry over.

7. Grace Period

Following the expiration of a paid plan, we may provide a grace period during which you may continue to access and use the features and limits associated with your expired plan. The duration of the grace period may vary by plan or circumstance.

If the plan is not renewed within grace period, your account will be moved to the feature set and limits applicable to the Free plan. The grace period may not be used repeatedly or on a recurring basis to extend access to paid-plan features without an active paid plan.

Renewing a paid plan after the grace period has ended will restore the features and limits of the newly selected plan going forward. A later renewal does not retroactively restore or provide credit for any portion of the period during which the plan was expired or the account was subject to Free plan limitations.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content and destination URLs that you submit to the Service and are solely responsible for them, including their legality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws.

URLd.me and its related branding, software, design, and platform remain the property of their respective owners. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

URLd.me is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, URLd.me and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of business, interruption of service, or content shared by other users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service is operated, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably.

11. Disputes

If you have a concern or believe we have made a mistake, please contact us first. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes fairly and in good faith.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable law.

12. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of URLd.me after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
